Mr. Garza earned his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Maryland and is admitted to practice law in all courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia, including the United States Supreme Court.  He has numerous reported decisions in the Maryland Supreme Court, the D.C. Court of Appeals, the federal courts, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mr. Garza served in bar association leadership roles, including Chairman of the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Committee of the Montgomery County Bar Associaton and President of the Bankruptcy Bar Association.  He has been a recognized speaker at numerous legal education seminars. He was named as one of the top 50 trial lawyers in the D. C. area by Washingtonian magazine and one of the top lawyers in Maryland by Baltimore magazine.
